Terrance was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up on the shores of Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Aside from a short-stint living on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, he eventually migrated further north with his family to the tropical state of Queensland. Like most kids of his era, he was fed a healthy diet of American pop culture, developing an obsession with books, movies, comics and video games. However, prior to catching the writing bug, life carried him along a different route, which saw him work a variety of odd jobs - everything from a club DJ to a dog food salesman - before eventually graduating with a degree in visual design and 3D animation from SAE/Qantm Creative Media Institute. Post-grad, he worked professionally as a graphic designer in both advertising and digital media. It was during that time he started reading screenplays for fun.

In 2006, he switched careers to pursue his newfound passion for storytelling on a full-time basis. Since then, he has optioned multiple original screenplays and was recently hired to pen the English adaptation of the notorious French zombie film The Horde, as well as Matthew Reilly's New York Times bestselling novel, Contest. In 2010 he was hired by legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi to work on Burst 3D for director Neill Marshall. Shortly after, his action-thriller screenplay Priority Run was sold to Arclight Films and is currently in pre-production with Peter Stebbings set to direct. Terrance has also developed screenplays for a variety of production companies and studios, including Platinum Dunes, Appian Way, Screen Gems, Warner Bros., and Lionsgate. In 2013 he was featured in The Tracking Board's annual Young and Hungry List, which celebrates exciting new voices making their mark on the film and TV industries.

The Emissary is his debut novel - the first in a planned science-fiction trilogy called The Earth Epsilon Wars. Terrance also enjoys writing in the post-apocalyptic and thriller genres, and is currently developing several book trilogies, including an on-going space opera series which he plans to release in coming months.

Terrance resides in Brisbane, Queensland, with his wife and a Staffordshire terrier named Clifford. When he's not fending off mobs of radioactive Kangaroos and nests of flesh-melting spiders, he can usually be found lurking somewhere around his office, conjuring up his next story.
